It doesn't matter what religion we are, the anatomy & physiology of our human bodies are the same.
It doesn't matter what religion we are, the anatomy & physiology of our human souls are the same.
The problem is, for most people, unlike the human body the anatomy & physiology of our soul is not a physical tangible object which can be examined, experimented with, and understood as it develops. Thus mankind has developed many philosophies, theories and speculations concerning the anatomy & physiology of the human soul. These philosophies, theories and speculations are the many religion(s).
The problem is that mankind studying the soul is similar to the Hindu and Buddhist parable of the five blind men being led to an elephant for the first time. One gets the trunk and states, "An elephant is like a python." One gets the tail and states, "An elephant is like a rope." One gets the leg and states, "An elephant is like a column in a building." One gets the side and states, "An elephant is like a stone wall." And the last one gets an ear and states, "An elephant is like a palm tree." They could argue forever and fight many battles arguing over who is correct. The same is true of the blind mankind who are trying to understand the human soul.
When one sees the entire elephant, they quickly realize that all the blind men examining the elephant are correct, but none have the entire picture. It is the same with the anatomy & physiology of the human soul. When you understand it, you see that all religions are correct in their limited understanding, but no one understands the human soul in its entirety.
Rather than arguing that your religion is correct and others are wrong, seek to understand all religions and you will gain better understanding of the greater picture.
About twenty years ago, a Methodist Minister went with me to spend a week with Thich Nhat Hanh. At the end of the week, his words were like a baseball bat to the side of my head. He stated, "After all my years at the pulpit teaching Christianity, I can honestly say that I have never really understood it until now, when I look at Christianity from a Buddhist perspective."
You will find that as our consciousness grows, the invisible becomes visible. From a higher consciousness perspective, the anatomy & physiology of the human soul is a physical tangible observable object. And.... that all religions are basically saying the same thing and we just don't realize it.
Please, stop fighting and arguing and always seek to understand the bigger picture.
