The Spokesman-Review posted this article about retired Methodist pastor Paul Graves's realization that he is finding God in people outside of religious circles. While some among us might reject his characterization of such people as "marginal," it is an encouraging direction. He writes: "With every good intention, perhaps, we forget that ministry is meant to simply serve persons and encourage wholeness in them. We aren’t called to make people religious. We are called to let them see how being more deeply human than even we understand is what life is really about."
